Short answers to the most common questions about Mogwai, ordering, payment, and delivery.
About the Mogwai & Gwai
No. These are independent, artist-made dolls inspired by the Gremlins films, not official merchandise.
My Gwai are original interpretations - inspired by Mogwai, but not exact replicas. Hence the name.
Classic Mogwai are inspired by the film designs. Unique Gwai are original creations - “what if a Mogwai met something else?”
They are carefully crafted to stay very close to the look and spirit of the movie puppets.
Yes. Each Mogwai is made by me, from start to finish.
Probably not. Let’s not risk it.
About the Making Process
No. I do not accept custom requests or personal designs. I only create my own Mogwai and Gwai characters as shown on the website.
Making one Mogwai takes about 3 weeks. However, waiting time may be longer depending on the number of current orders, as they are completed in a queue.
Your Mogwai will look about 99% identical to the photos. Because each piece is handmade, very small differences may occur - but they are minimal.
All Mogwai shown on the website are available for adoption and can be made again.
Mogwai are made using a mix of materials, including:
photopolymer resin (3D printed parts)
plastic internal skeleton
faux fur
polyester fiber filling
glass eyes
acrylic paints
and many small details like threads, glue, eyelashes, and more
